As Hurricane Florence rages in the Carolinas, Inside Edition is outlining what to do and what not to do when stuck in a storm. If you find yourself trapped in a house with rising water levels, make sure you get to the highest point even if it’s the roof. Also, do not come in contact with water if you can help it, as even a minor cut could lead to a life-threatening disease. If you’re driving, do not drive down a flooded street or highway. It may look like a shallow puddle, but it could be much worse.
