Ecuador Pair Set Guinness Record for World’s Oldest Married Couple

Julio and Waldramina Quinteros were married in 1941, almost 80 years ago. The pair are from
Ecuador. And their wedding ceremony back then was a secret one, as neither of their families
approved of the union. Maybe they thought it wouldn’t last. But last it did. It’s literally in the
record books -- Guinness World Records just certified them as the oldest married couple on the
planet. Julio’s now 110 years old, and Waldramina is 104.
