Egyptian Radiologist Makes Elaborate Matchstick Models of Famous Buildings

When he’s not working as a radiologist, Ahmed Hassan likes to relax by building extraordinarily complex models out of matchsticks. He’s made versions of Tower Bridge and the Library of Alexandria. Ahmed was inspired to make a mini Notre Dame after the famed cathedral nearly burned to the ground in 2019. Ahmed's house is full of his matchstick creations. He says he doesn’t want to sell them, but wouldn’t mind putting them on display somewhere.
