Ellen Degeneres Says She ‘Couldn’t Have Known’ About Alleged Workplace Bullying

Ellen Degeneres, who just announced she’d be ending her run as a daytime talk host after 19 seasons, defended herself against accusations of allowing a “toxic workplace” on her eponymous show. She defiantly assured that “it was too orchestrated and too coordinated” for her to believe the accusations were true. She says she couldn’t have known about the alleged bullying because so many people worked for her. Comedian Tiffany Hadish is rumored to be her replacement.
