'Empire' Actor Jussie Smollett: ‘My Body Is Strong But My Soul Is Stronger’

“Empire” star Jussie Smollett is breaking his silence following his attack earlier this week. "I’m ok. My body is strong but my soul is stronger," he said in a statement Friday. The actor said he was working with authorities and that he had been completely truthful and consistent in recounting the attack. Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson is also addressing some of the skepticism about Smollett's account of the attack that's lighting up social media.
