David Tronnes and his wife, Shanti, moved into a historic fixer-upper in Orlando, Florida. The couple ended up spending lots of money for home renovations. Tronnes had the idea of going on A&E’s “Zombie House Flipping,” where crews renovate homes in dire condition. Prosecutors say Tronnes snapped when Shanti tried to cancel a meeting with the show's producers. He was charged with fatally beating and strangling her. He was later convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
