Florida Man Proposes in Hospital Room to Trauma Nurse Who Helped Save His Life
June 11, 2019
This man is dedicating his life to the woman who helped save it. Damien LeRoy, 37, was severely injured in 2016 when he was forced to bail from his paragliding apparatus, landing 150 feet below. The accident in Florida broke his back, pelvis, and several ribs. LeRoy was rushed to St. Mary's Medical Center, where nurse Alexandra Hoover was on the trauma team that treated him. "I just saw her eyes right away and I was like, man," LeRoy told Inside Edition. "She cared so much."
