6-Year-Old Fiona Gifts Publix Employee ‘High Five’ With $10,000

An unlikely friendship began after Rachel Smith and her family started regularly visiting their Publix in Fort Myers, Florida. Her daughter Fiona, now 6, befriended an employee, Gilnet Sainvil. Fiona and Gilnet always greeted each other with high-fives. Fiona even nicknamed him “High Five.” Their friendship grew, and so did their popularity on social media. That led to Rachel and Fiona gifting “High Five” with $10,000. Rachel spoke to Inside Edition’s Andrea Swindall about the good deed.
