Footage Captures Toxic Chemical Falling on Eastern Ukrainian Village
September 21, 2022
Russian forces drop fire from the sky over a village just liberated by Ukrainian troops. A village in Eastern Ukraine named Ozerne was the target of the attack. From street level, the storm of the white-hot orbs rained down on buildings and cars on a busy highway. The burning blobs are white phosphorus, which is a toxic chemical that ignites when exposed to air. The chemical is also hot enough to melt steel.
