Former 1st Lady Rosalynn Carter Diagnosed With Dementia

The Carter family is sharing that former first lady Rosalynn Carter has dementia. She continues to live happily at home with her husband, enjoying spring in Plains and visits with loved ones. “So what happens when you have dementia is that more and more often you cannot do what you could normally do as part of your life remaining independent,” said Robert Egge, of the Alzheimer's Association.
