George Clooney Recovering Following Scooter Crash in Italy

George Clooney has been released from the hospital after he was thrown off his scooter and into the windshield of a Mercedes on the Italian island of Sardinia Tuesday. The ‘Ocean’s 11’ actor is on the island where he is filming Hulu’s ‘Catch-22’ series. He was on his way to the set, reportedly driving 60 miles per hour, when a male driver did not "respect the right of way" and cut off Clooney’s scooter. The actor is said to have been hurled 20 feet in the air, over the hood of the car.
