'Girl Dad' and Daughter Visit 50 Kobe and Gigi Tribute Murals in Los Angeles

This “Girl Dad” thought up a special way to celebrate his relationship with his daughter and honor Kobe and Gigi Bryant at the same time. After the tragic helicopter crash, dozens of murals popped up across Los Angeles honoring Kobe and Gigi. Jeff Goertzen, a newspaper reporter, asked his daughter to visit all 50 murals with him. The two set off on a two-day, 500-mile journey, documenting each mural along the way. Their favorite? A giant one of a young Gigi adoringly holding her father’s face.
