Grandmothers Accused of Covering Up Family’s Role in Ohio Massacre
November 15, 2018
Two grandmothers entered an Ohio court to face astonishing charges that they tried to cover up a family's role in a massacre. Fredericka Wagner, 76, and Rita Newcomb, 65, allegedly lied to a grand jury investigating the slaughter of eight people from a rival family, the Rhodens. The massacre is believed to be the result of a bitter custody battle over a little girl, Sophia Wagner, according to authorities. A total of six Wagner family members are facing charges in connection with the killings.
