Ricki Lake is opening up about her hair loss struggle. The 51-year-old former talk show host started the new year by showing off her new buzz cut on social media, calling her hair loss "debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely." Lake first burst onto the scene in 1988's "Hairspray." She believes the iconic hairdo she sported in the film and the dying and teasing it required had long-term consequences. Weight fluctuations, hormones and genetics also played a role, she said.
