    Here’s Why Tree Macron and Trump Planted at White House Disappeared

    The mystery of the missing White House oak tree has been solved. In a photo-op seen around the world, President Trump and the French President Emmanuel Macron planted a tree on the White House lawn. First Lady Melania Trump and her French counterpart, Brigitte Macron, look on while holding hands. The oak sapling originated from Belleau Wood, a French World War I battlefield where nearly 2,000 U.S. soldiers were killed. It was a gift from the French president.
