High-Speed Chase Damages Cop and Civilian Vehicles

A high-speed chase ended in an accident that sent a police cruiser through a fence. Florida’s Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says deputies were in pursuit of people in an allegedly stolen vehicle. Authorities say they unsuccessfully tried to stop a pickup truck with a PIT Maneuver. Soon after, body camera footage shows the police vehicles colliding, causing them to cross the median into on-coming traffic. This incident happened in October 2022, but the body cam video has just been released.
