Houses Built by Brad Pitt Charity After Hurricane Katrina Allegedly Need Work
Building homes in the city of New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina was a labor of love for Brad Pitt. The movie star set up a non-profit foundation called "Make It Right" to construct dozens of distinctive, affordable and environmentally friendly houses in the city's devastated lower Ninth Ward. But some homeowners say their Brad Pitt homes have been plagued with issues. Homeowner Mary Picot and her husband Michael say problems quickly appeared with the electrical wiring and the porch.
