    Greta Thunberg is TIME’s 2019 Person of the Year. The 16-year-old climate activist is the youngest person to receive the influential distinction, and the magazine says she represents "the power of youth." Greta first gained global attention in August 2018 when she protested outside of Swedish parliament.
