There’s an epidemic of sophisticated burglary rings watching for when you're not home, then breaking in. How can you protect your valuables if burglars strike? Security expert Kathleen Baty, known as the Safety Chick, showed Inside Edition’s Victoria Recano how. She says leaving your valuables out in plain sight is a bad idea because many thieves will peak in the house first to see what is up for grabs. She also says the best place to hide your valuables is in the kitchen.
