How To Safeguard Rental Storage Units to Avoid Thefts

YouTube is filled with videos showing people allegedly breaking into storage units. Dallas police posted a video asking for help in tracking down the guys they say are responsible for 155 break-ins. Experts say the first line of defense in securing personal units is to look for a storage facility that has a gated entry and requires a special access code. The access code should be unique for each tenant. Also, make sure to use a secure lock.
