How Teens Are Exploring Cities Using Underground Manholes
Teens in Portland, Oregon, were caught on surveillance camera climbing out of a manhole. Dozens of videos on YouTube show young people exploring tunnels under cities and towns all over the United States. Most of the tunnels are storm drains. In one video, kids ride on skateboards through a narrow tunnel. While it may look fun, if a storm or flood began without warning, these kids would be in serious trouble. So what’s with the trend?
