How to Escape From or Hide in a Grocery Store During an Emergency

Just days after the shooting spree of Atlanta-area spas, the Colorado supermarket shooting that left ten dead has people on edge. If you’re worried about something similarly scary happening on a trip to the grocery store, there are a few things security expert Steve Kardian wants to share with you. If shots are fired, try to escape, rather than hide. Move toward the main entrance, or if it’s too dangerous, look for a door in the back or side of the store that leads to the loading dock.
