Virologist Dr. Paula Cannon says that if you’re flying for the holidays, the best way to protect yourself from contracting COVID-19 is to never take your mask off on the plane — even for eating and drinking. She also recommends turning on the air nozzle above your seat on full blast, to create a “cone” of fresh filtered air around you.
