Human and Gorilla Mothers Bond Over Woman’s Baby at the Zoo

Kiki the gorilla, who lives at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts, seemed thrilled to meet a human baby when mom Emmelina Austin held the child in front of the gorilla enclosure’s glass. As Emmelina swaddles the newborn boy, named Canyon, Kiki tries to pet the baby. As onlookers marveled at the bonding, Kiki brought her 7-month-old son Pablo to meet Canyon.
