Hundreds Attend Funeral for Veteran With No Living Family Members
October 2, 2019
A veteran's funeral drew hundreds of people who all wanted to pay their respects to a man they never met. Edward Pearson served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964 and died in August at the age of 80. At the time of his death, he had no living family, so his obituary invited the public to attend his funeral at Sarasota National Cemetery. Those who showed up say they may not be his blood relatives, but they consider Pearson their family. InsideEdition.com's Mara Montalbano has more.
