Iceberg as Big as London Breaks Off Ice Shelf in Antarctica
January 23, 2023
A massive iceberg has broken away in Antarctica. Glaciologists with the British Antarctic Survey say it measures about 600 square miles, the size of Greater London. They called it Chasm 1 and continued to monitor it, expecting a breakaway event in the future. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
