‘I’m Not Your Food!’ Runner Gets Confronted by Black Bear in National Park

It’s runner versus bear! Evan Matthews was jogging through Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming when he noticed something — a hungry brown bear had started following him! A slow but scary half-mile chase ensued as the bear continued to stalk him. “I don’t care if you’re hungry, I’m not your food!” he shouted at the bear. Luckily, he did have his bear spray with him and was able to scare the bear away. After about 10 minutes, the bear gave up and went on its way.
