Inside The Remote Scottish Town Where Trump’s Mother, Mary, Grew Up
October 30, 2018
The untold story of President Trump's mother lies in a remote Scotland town. Mary Anne MacLeod grew up poor in the fishing village of Tong in the Scottish Highlands. She lived in a gray pebble-dash house with her parents and nine siblings. All these years later, the home remains in the family as one of Trump's cousins lives there. Local historical writer Ian Stephen says when Mary was growing up times were tough. “This was not an easy place to make a living,” he told Inside Edition.
