Joshua Tree Couple Accused of Child Cruelty Says Kids 'Were Never in Danger'

The couple accused of keeping kids in calamitous conditions shares their side of the story. "They were never in any danger," Mona Kirk told KCBS.  In the Joshua Tree desert of California, haunting images show the family living in what appears to be squalor.
