Journalist Laura Bassett on Chris Matthews Stepping Down From MSNBC

Laura Bassett is the journalist who some say brought down MSNBC host Chris Matthews. Now, she’s telling her story to Inside Edition. She says she is stunned by the blowback she’s gotten. She said people have told her to kill herself, have called her “a whore,” “ugly,” and people have told her "to go away.” Bassett said she doesn’t believe Matthews should be lumped together with Harvey Weinstein and others held accountable as a result of the #MeToo movement, but that his behavior was unacceptable.
