Judy Garland’s ‘Wizard of Oz’ Dress Goes Up for Auction

It's one of the most iconic movie costumes of all time, and it could be yours. Judy Garland’s blue and white gingham dress from “The Wizard of Oz” is going to the auction block and is expected to fetch $800,000 to $1.2 million. The dress had been missing for fifty years, until it turned up last year in an old box at Catholic University in Washington D.C. It had been gifted to the school in the 1970s, but was lost in the 1980s, never to be seen again until 2021.
