Karen Read Thanks Well-Wishers Before Entering Murder Trial

Former college professor Karen Read thanked her supporters outside her murder trial. She's accused of mowing down her cop boyfriend in a jealous rage. However, her supporters believe she has been framed for murder. The prosecution alleges she intentionally rammed into her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe, following a night of bar hopping. The defense claims her boyfriend was beaten inside a house where a fellow officer was throwing a party and his body was dumped in the snow.
