Was Princess Di Supposed to Be in Sequel of 'The Bodyguard'?

Kevin Costner told Howard Stern he approached the late Princess Diana about appearing in a sequel to his 1992 hit film "The Bodyguard" which originally starred legendary singer Whitney Houston. He says Princess Diana was very sweet, and wanted there to be a kissing scene. After Diana's tragic death, the sequel was shelved. "I never made that movie because I could never replace Princess Di," Costner says.
