Kids Are Getting Colds With Symptoms Similar to COVID-19 as They Return to School

New concerns are arising today as more and more kids that have returned to school are coming home sick. In most cases, however, it’s not COVID-19, but the common cold, which can have similar but less severe symptoms. Researchers in Hong Kong are seeing seven-times as many common-cold cases amongst school children than in previous years. But if there’s no fever, it’s likely not COVID-19. Meanwhile, health officials are on edge as people take to bars to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
