Lion Cub Transported from War Zone to Sanctuary
November 19, 2024
A rescued lion cub has been moved to a safer place. A group called Animals Lebanon first saw the cub, named Sara, online. Under Lebanese law, owning exotic animals is prohibited. It took several months, but the group was able to go to court to get Sara's owner to relinquish the big cat. They planned to move her immediately, but Israel started bombing Lebanon in an attempt to attack the Lebanese militant group, Hezbollah.
