As if the first tropical storm unleashed in Southern California in more than 80 years was not harrowing enough, an earthquake also sent shock waves through parts of Ventura and Los Angeles County. As tropical storm Hilary brought floods to Los Angeles, a 5.1 magnitude earthquake sent things flying and residents running.The phenomenon of a tropical storm and a sizable earthquake occurring together is unprecedented and it's being dubbed "hurriquake."
