Activists from Animal Rebellion created blockades around McDonald’s distribution centers in the UK, with the demand that the international fast food chain make its entire menu plant-based by 2025. Members of the group created bamboo structures to block trucks from making deliveries. A spokesperson for McDonald’s apologized to customers “for any disruption.”
