Melania Trump says serving as First Lady was “the greatest honor” of her life, however she is leaving without fulfilling a traditional First Lady role. According to CNN, Trump will be the only First Lady in modern times to forgo giving the traditional tour of the White House living quarters to the incoming First Lady. Despite feeling Trump’s birther claims were “mean spirited” and xenophobic, Michelle Obama welcomed Melania Trump to the White House both privately publicly.
