Miss Kansas Alexis Smith Calls Out Her Abuser During Beauty Pageant

Miss Kansas Alexis Smith called out her abuser during a beauty pageant. While on stage, she says, "Some of you out in this audience saw me very emotional because my abuser is here today. But that’s not going to stop me from being on this Miss Kansas stage.” Smith went on to win the contest and will represent the state of Kansas in next year's Miss America pageant. Although Smith never identified the person in the audience she says abused her, she's getting support for her gutsy remarks.
