Mom of 17-Year-Old Fouled Basketball Player: ‘I Was Terrified’

The high school basketball player who was viciously fouled over the weekend is breaking his silence. Thomas Atkins was in mid-air for a dunk during a game in Hays, Kansas, Saturday when he was shoved from behind with both hands by an opposing player. Atkins was sent flying. "It hurt really bad. I couldn't feel my legs at first. I was in shock,” Atkins told Inside Edition. The ref called a flagrant foul but the opposing player was allowed to stay in the game.
