10 Tons of Cocaine Worth $340 Million Seized by Colombian Authorities

High-speed boats trying to traffic drugs weren’t fast enough to outrun authorities in the Caribbean. Colombia’s armed forces says they seized more than 10 tons of cocaine hydrochloride recently. They say three vessels were stopped in the Caribbean Sea near the Venezuelan border that were carrying more than five tons of drugs.
