New VR Suit Could Aide Those Living With Parkinson’s Disease

A whole body virtual reality suit could soon supercharge the VR experience. The suit is expected to be able to help film directors map an actor's movement and even aid a Parkinson’s sufferer in walking. "The Meta Suit is basically a suit that is built with artificial muscles and that enables us to have greater interaction with virtual reality," Max Eberlein, project lead at ETH Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, told Reuters.
