Times Square Ball Now Has 200 New Waterford Crystals

Preparation is underway for New Year's Eve in Times Square. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to show up for the big countdown. The main attraction is the world-famous New Year's ball. This year, the 12-foot, six-ton ball received a major upgrade. Two-hundred new Waterford crystals were added to the beautiful sculpture. Also, 3,000 pounds of confetti are ready to go as we say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023.
