    New York Soup Kitchen Adapts to Coronavirus by Offering Meals to Go

    As businesses around the country close their doors to stem the spread of the coronavirus, some organizations remain open. That includes the CHiPS Soup Kitchen & Women's Shelter in Brooklyn, New York. “In light of the virus, we decided not to close,” Executive Director Denise Scaravella told InsideEdition.com. Instead of their usual sit-down service, the program will make available food to go. “We’re here. We’re going to stay here. And we’re going to keep giving away food.”
