Newlyweds in Cancun Are Sleeping on Cots in Hotel Lobby Because of Hurricane

These American honeymooners in Cancun are dealing with some pretty harsh conditions as Hurricane Delta pounds their hotel. Nicole and Jake Sinclair were married in Grand Rapids, Michigan over the weekend, then flew to Cozumel for their honeymoon, just in time to have the hurricane hit. Windows in their hotel lobby were boarded up, but the couple’s bigger concern is the danger of COVID-19 in tightly-packed quarters at the hotel. Nicole, a nurse, praised the staff for their efforts.
