Trailblazing ‘Star Trek’ Actress Nichelle Nichols Dies

Nichelle Nichols was celebrated across the internet Sunday, once word of her passing spread across social media. Her son, Kyle Johnson made the announcement on Facebook and her website. “Her light, however, like the ancient galaxies now being seen for the first time, will remain for us and future generations to enjoy, learn from, and draw inspiration.
