Helicopter Crash Kills TV Meteorologist and Pilot

A TV Meteorologist and pilot were killed in a helicopter crash. Two families, as well as Charlotte, North Carolina CBS affiliate WBTV, are mourning the loss of two beloved team members. The station’s Sky3 Helicopter crashed just off an interstate on Tuesday, killing meteorologist Jason Myers and pilot Chip Tayag. WBTV covered the crash live on air, but waited until the two families were notified to air tributes to their colleagues.
