North Korea Launches Ice Cream Factory

North Korea’s state news agency is touting a new ice cream factory in the capital city of Pyongyang. The Taesongsan ice cream factory allegedly produces what one engineer calls “high quality ice creams as well as various kinds of no-sugar and zero-calorie drinks.” Some of those alleged products in freezers were shown in footage provided by North Korea. Video of the factory could not be independently verified.
