Notre Dame College Students Protest Op-Ed That Criticized Leggings

Notre Dame students are hitting back at a mom who slammed them for wearing leggings to church. Maryann White wrote a letter to the editor of the college’s newspaper, the Observer, saying she was outraged to see leggings worn during Mass inside the Notre Dame church. White, who called herself "a Catholic mother of four sons," said she felt "ashamed" for the young women. Students turned their anger into “Love Your Leggings Day,” encouraging men and women to wear leggings on Tuesday.
