NYPD Cop Wades Into Water to Save Blind Border Collie From Pond

Cops came to the rescue of a blind dog that had wandered into a pond. The NYPD says 8-year-old Sparky, a Border Collie, got into Baisley Pond in Queens and didn’t know how to get out. Two officers tracked down Sparky and one of them waded into the water to get the canine, who wasn’t much help. The officer carried the dog all the way to land, which seemed an exhausting task.
